Beats Studio by Dr. Dre Review
If you are serious about your mixes you need a solid pair of headphones. When it comes to DJ headphones there are many choices out there. If you spend the money you can get some quality headphones that blow the roof off when your in the mix. In the mid range price point there are some great choices. Now let me say right up front I am not a fan of Monster and would never buy their over priced cables. On the other hand when it comes to headphones that new Beats Studio by D. Dre make the cut. The sound blasts and the bass pumps. You can tell their was some love making this headphones pop. The price is not at an extreme high, but it will set you back at least $260.00 for these DJ headphones. Is it worth it you ask, well mixed review.
The quality is there and the sound is right the feel of the headphones does feel solid. Nothing worse then a pair of cheap ass headphones that break at the first drop. You know your are going to drop the headphones and want to make sure they are going to survive the fall. The cord felt tight nice clean cable that looks like it's going to survive a full pulls when you are reaching for the stack of records behind you. Yeah know you want some bass and some all around goodness and the Beats Studio by Dr. Dre does connect. Michael Jackson
The last week has been crazy with so many good people passing. It was very sad to heat that Michael Jackson has passed. He was the reason so many of us got involved with music. As the weeks and months pass I think there will be a huge void left by Michael. It's funny how when he was alive so many forgot him. Then at his passing everyone is pulling out their Michael Jackson stuff and feeling very sad. The music will always be here and new music will come with time as MJ left many unreleased tracks. The concert promoters might also put out the video of his rehearsals for the 50 sold out dates in London. As the years pass MJ will still be with us.

Audio Technica AT-LP2DUSB LP-to-Digital Recording System with USB
When I set up for a show the equipment I use depends on the size of the room. If space is an issue then I do not take my turntables and go digital. When I go digital if I do not have a digital copy of a track, I use my Audio Technica to transfer albums or tracks to the digital. It work well and the software is very easy to set up. Once you get your track onto the computer then a little playing with the software and you can clean the track so that it sounds perfect. In some cases I like to hear to pops and leave it in, but you do have the option to clean all sound files before you use them. Nice price for this unit at under $100.00 and free shipping.
